Modern day humans are living an extremely sedentary lifestyle which includes too much time spent sitting hunched over. These habits eventually lead to the force of gravity taking its toll and causing the degradation of our musculoskeletal system including our joints and connective tissues which ultimately results in pain. Our mission is to educate people on the importance of functional strength and maintaining an active lifestyle. Our bodies are meant to move. We believe proper movement patterns and a solid foundation of strength are the remedies to pain, illness, fatigue and many other modern-day ailments associated with sedentary lifestyles.

Sitting for prolonged periods of time as well as general inactivity can be a major cause of back pain, cause increased stress to the back, neck, arms and legs, and can add a tremendous amount of pressure to the back muscles and spinal discs. Additionally, sitting in a slouched position can overstretch the spinal ligaments and strain the spinal discs.
